Defective Construction, April 1, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: BrylaneHome 61/2-Ft.x10-Ft. Rectangular Umbrella (HUNTER GREEN,0) This is supposed to have 6 ribs to support the rectangle shape, but the 4 corner ribs were "hooked" to the 2 side ribs and we couldn't get the umbrella open past 1/3 open. We are pretty handy and couldn't figure out how to unconnect them. It might have been just the one we got, but I've dealt with Made in China products and figured all the assemblers were taught the same procedure and just returned the item rather than exchange for a different one.

Rectangular Umbrella (STRIPE,0) I've been using this umbrella for about a month now,and love it!!! My second floor deck is 8x10 and gets FULL afternoon sun until it sets and this umbrella just about covers the whole deck and keeps the heat from beating on my slider. It's a heavier material to shade the deck than the last thin polyester one that I had. The price is GREAT also~~~If they ever get the striped one back in stock, I'll probably get a 2nd one, just to have it on hand, I LOVE LOVE LOVE being able to keep the blinds open and not living in a "cave" when it's hot and sunny out~~~
